Non-GMO Verified
In July 2010, Choice Organic Teas further demonstrated its commitment to producing safe, healthy, and high-quality teas when it became the first tea company verified Non-GMO by the Non-GMO Project. The tea company's flagship "Original" product line was the first to be verified and carries the Non-GMO Project Verified Seal. The Non-GMO Project is a non-profit organization created to offer consumers a consistent non-GMO choice for organic and natural products that are produced without genetic engineering or recombinant DNA technologies. It allows shoppers to easily identify non-GMO items, and also helps reduce the likelihood of new GMO crops being commercialized.

HACCP
Choice Organic Teas has a certified HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) management system in place. HACCP management ensures food safety by monitoring and recording every step involved in the processing of our teas, from when the tea arrives at our facility to when it is shipped to you.
